This exhibition is a cross-section of Robert's photographic preoccupations illustrated through a selection of upbeat and gently life-affirming images. Viewers of the exhibition have commented on the tranquility and uplifting quality of the photographs collected in this way, and that although they are black and white they are also "full of light".
From rural life to foreign cities, coastal landscapes to spiral stairs, the exhibition shows Robert's eye for the surreal and sculptural, his humour, and his love of rural landscapes.
44 photographs has formerly shown at Elixir Gallery, Woolwich hospital, 25 November-4 January 2009.
