Currently a huge project is underway: A lifetime of Robert Eades's photographs are being digitally scanned and will be posted here - on this evolving website.
These photographs are illustrations from an Encyclopedia of Planet Earth. Begun in 1967, Robert has found himself repeatedly drawn to certain subject-matter, like a collector of images. As such, the encyclopedia is divided into subject sections, (trees, horses, agricultural ironmongery, etc); new ones are being added all the time whilst others have a tendency towards empire building (for example, coastal scenes is particularly prolific). Until we have scanned them all, we may not truly see the scope of each subject which has attracted Robert's photographic eye over the last fifty years.
Watch this space as we plumb the depths of his negative archive!
